Personal data is supplied by appellants by completing a hard copy or online form on our website.
What type of information is collected from you
This might include appellants’ name, address, contact details; child’s name, address, date of birth, personal /family circumstances & medical details.
How we use the information you have provided
The information is used to facilitate the appeal hearing by an Independent Appeal Panel.
Who has access to the information about you
The information held by the clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel and Democratic Services colleagues.
Who we may share your information with
The information is shared with the Admissions department/school being appealed for, independent Appeal Panel Members who will hear your appeal, the appeal clerk and if required, a legal adviser to the panel.
How long we store your information
Documents will be retained electronically from the end of the appeal process for a minimum of two years.
