Lawful basis for processing the information

The lawful basis we rely on to process your personal data is article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR, which allows us to process personal data when this is necessary for the performance of a task carried in the public interest.
If the information you provide us or we receive in relation to the consultation contains special category data, such as health, religious or ethnic information the lawful basis we rely on to process it is article 9(2)(g) of the UK GDPR, where processing is necessary for reasons of substantial public interest. As we are allocating funds for public services, we believe this processing of personal data is of substantial public interest.

The legislation governing this requirement is the Local Government Act 2000.

How we collect your personal information

We will collect your information through an online survey on our RBWM Together website. 

What information is collected

Name, post code, email address, age, gender identity and information about how you would use the skatepark.

How we use the information provided

We want to find out what the public would like to see in the new skatepark in terms of ramps/features etc. We therefore want to engage with individuals and work together with residents to develop a design for this new skatepark that meets our residents needs and will use the information you provide as a means of establishing this.

If you have expressed an interest to participate, we will use your information to contact you.

How long we store your information

The information will only be stored until the new design of the skatepark is agreed and no longer than 12 months from the date of capturing the personal information. 

Does your service utilise automated decision making? No.
