General Data Protection Regulation 2016 – Article 6(1)(e) processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
How we collect information
Name, addresses and contact details are provided by residents who wish to begin the community trigger process and have their cases reviewed by the local authority and other partner agencies. Residents provide this information by completing an online form.
Categories of information
Name, addresses and contact details. Personal data may be disclosed within the details of any incidents reported.
How we use the information provided
To review the residents’ individual case to see whether it meets the threshold for a trigger review.
To share with other agencies (see below) to see whether the case is known to them and to review the residents case in a multi-agency setting to put together an action plan to help resolve their case.
Who has access to the information about you
Communities, Enforcement and Protection staff members who are involved in your case.
Who we may share your information with
Partner agencies, for example: Thames Valley Police, Channel and Prevent Multi-Agency Panel (PMAP), Social care, Housing Associations, Royal Borough internal departments and where lawfully required to do so.
How long we store your information
Seven years.
