Examination of the local plan

A Report was taken to an Extraordinary Full Council on Tuesday 8 February 2022 where the recommendation to adopt the Borough Local Plan was agreed.

Submission

The Submission documents submitted to the Planning Inspector for the Examination of the Plan are listed below.

Proposed changes to BLP submission version

The purpose of this public consultation was to allow an opportunity for anyone interested to make representations on the Proposed Changes which are set out in the 'Borough Local Plan (2013 - 2033) Submission Version Incorporating Proposed Changes, October 2019'.

Main modifications to the Borough Local Plan version

The Council consulted on the Main Modifications between Monday 19 July and Sunday 5 September 2021.

Regulation 18 consultation

The purpose of this stage is to engage with local residents and relevant organisations to identify how planning policy can be used positively to help address key issues within the local authority area.

Regulation 19 publication stage

The publication stage represents what the council considers to be the final version of the BLP.
