Background
The council invests £1.1 million a year to support bus services. Every few years, bus companies are asked to compete for the contracts to run these services, as a way to ensure the council gets best value for the funding it provides.
The current contracts come to an end this summer, and the council was seeking feedback on the proposed locations and streets where buses will call within the new package of routes. Feedback given by residents is now being analysed.
