Moving Traffic Enforcement frequently asked questions
We started the enforcement of existing moving traffic restrictions, initially at 12 problem locations, in order to improve road safety and reduce congestion.
Will local authorities need to go through the advised consultation process if further/different sites are added for enforcement?
Yes – any new site not included in the initial consultation will follow the prescribed consultation with the public to notify their intentions and reasons for introducing new schemes, these will normally be done in phased batches.
