We started the enforcement of existing moving traffic restrictions, initially at 12 problem locations, in order to improve road safety and reduce congestion.

What sort of restrictions require enforcement?

Typical examples of moving traffic contraventions include:

  • Performing a banned turn.
  • Driving through a no entry.
  • Entering a pedestrianised zone, and
  • Stopping on yellow box junctions.
