Approved Stakeholder Masterplan Documents (SMDs)

The stakeholder master planning process formalises good practice in relation to pre-application discussions with the council, stakeholders, and the local community, by requiring developers of larger sites to engage at an early stage in the development process.

Spencer's Farm

This is a site allocation in the adopted Borough Local Plan for:

  • approximately 330 residential units
  • a network of high quality pedestrian and cycle routes across the site
  • a high quality network of green and blue infrastructure
  • a primary school (approximately up to three forms of entry)

The site is 13.51ha. 

On Thursday 21 July 2022, Cabinet unanimously approved the Spencer’s Farm Stakeholder Masterplan Document (SMD) as an important material consideration for Development Management purposes.
