Approved Stakeholder Masterplan Documents (SMDs)
The stakeholder master planning process formalises good practice in relation to pre-application discussions with the council, stakeholders, and the local community, by requiring developers of larger sites to engage at an early stage in the development process.
Spencer's Farm
This is a site allocation in the adopted Borough Local Plan for:
- approximately 330 residential units,
- a network of high quality pedestrian and cycle routes across the site,
- a high quality network of green and blue infrastructure and,
- a primary school (approximately up to three forms of entry).
- The site is 13.51ha.
On Thursday 21 July 2022, Cabinet unanimously approved the Spencer’s Farm Stakeholder Masterplan Document (SMD) as an important material consideration for Development Management purposes.
