The stakeholder master planning process formalises good practice in relation to pre-application discussions with the council, stakeholders, and the local community, by requiring developers of larger sites to engage at an early stage in the development process.
This is a site allocation in the emerging Borough Local Plan for approximately 450 residential units, strategic public open space, formal pitch provision for football and rugby, multi-functional community hub (including a café and internal space for community meetings/activities) and a Special Educational Needs School (approximately 150 pupil capacity). The site is 20.52ha.
On Thursday 28 October 2021, Cabinet unanimously approved the Land west of Windsor Stakeholder Masterplan (SMD) as an important material consideration for Development Management purposes.
