Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) Table of Contents

Kenneth Grahame is an author who wrote the classic 'Wind in the Willows', published in 1908. He is commemorated here with a Blue Plaque as he is known to have lived the early part of his life in Cookham Dean, and then in 'Mayfield' which is now Herries School.

The plaque was unveiled 7 November 1996
