The accessibility scheme has been designed for residents with disabilities and their carers.

Library computer access/printing and IT support

Computer Access and Printing

Accessibility card holders are entitled to:

  • Free computer access.
  • Free printing (up to 20 double sided pages per day).

Computer tables accessible for wheelchair users.

Visual Impairment Software 

Ascot Durning Library, Maidenhead Library and Windsor Library offer access to Dolphin Supernova specialist software supporting library users with visual impairment.

IT Support

Staff assistance is available with setting up personal devices, accessing our online resources and general IT help.

Maidenhead Library: Accessibility morning and IT support. Thursdays 9.30am - 11am drop in. Telephone: 01628 796969.

Dedworth Library: Every Thursday, 10am - midday and every other Saturday, 10:30am - midday. Saturday sessions: 20 January, 3 February, 17 February, 2 March, 16 March, 30 March, 13 April and 27 April 2024. Drop in. Telephone: 01753 868733.

Windsor Library: Accessibility morning and IT support. Wednesdays midday - 1:30pm. Appointments only. Telephone: 01753 743940.

Safe Spaces

Libraries are safe spaces if you are feeling anxious or concerned. You can ask for help and will be signposted to the correct support.
