Broadway car park demolition work programme
Work to demolish the closed Broadway multi-storey car park in Maidenhead started on Monday 29 January 2024.
The first phase of work, in preparation for demolition, saw hoarding erected on site from November 2023, along with scaffolding from December 2023.
The second phase commenced on Monday 29 January with the demolition of the King Street retail units and car park.
During these works asbestos was discovered and the safe removal of this is currently underway.
