Broadway car park, Maidenhead: Planned demolition work

The demolition of Broadway car park commenced in January 2024 following safety hoarding going up around the building at the end of last year.

From Monday 13 May to Monday 3 June 2024, a lane closure will be in place on Broadway to ensure a safe distance is maintained from the demolition works for passing traffic and pedestrians.

Work to demolish the closed Broadway multi-storey car park in Maidenhead started on Monday 29 January 2024.

When the safety hoarding is installed from Friday 17 November 2023, a section of the footpath on the eastern side of King Street, by the vacant business units underneath the car park, will be temporarily unavailable for pedestrians to use.
