The Hurley and the Walthams Neighbourhood Plan has been produced by volunteers from the local community for the parishes of Hurley, White Waltham, Waltham St Lawrence and Shottesbrooke. The Plan includes a vision and a suite of policies which apply to a range of development types in the neighbourhood area.
The Hurley and the Walthams neighbourhood plan was formally adopted by the borough council on 12 December 2017.
The Hurley and the Walthams Neighbourhood Plan has been examined by an independent examiner.
The referendum was held on 23 November 2017 with a 81% vote in favour to make the neighbourhood plan part of the development plan for the borough and to be used in making decisions on planning applications in the neighbourhood area.
