Eton and Eton Wick Neighbourhood Plan
The Eton and Eton Wick neighbourhood plan has been produced by volunteers from the local community of Eton and Eton Wick. The plan includes a vision and a suite of policies which apply to a range of development types in the neighbourhood area as well as some detailed design guidance.
The Eton and Eton Wick neighbourhood plan was formally made part of the Development Plan by the borough council on Tuesday 25 September 2018.
Background and associated documents
The Eton and Eton Wick neighbourhood plan has been examined by an independent examiner.
The referendum was held on Thursday 12 July 2018 with a 88% vote in favour to make the neighbourhood plan part of the development plan for the borough and to be used in making decisions on planning applications in the neighbourhood area.
The documents relevant for the referendum were:
- Proposed neighbourhood plan
- The independent examiner’s report
- Summary of any representations submitted to the independent examiner
- Decision Statement of the Local Planning Authority are satisfied that the draft plan meets those basic conditions as required in paragraph 8 (2) of Schedule 4B of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and complies with the provision made by or under Sections 38A and 38B of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
