General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(e) – processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

How we collect information

When you complete the online form accessed on the Public Listings webpage. 
Members of the public and any applicable voluntary and community sector organisation, charity, or business may upload information to this webpage. 

Categories of information

Your name, address and telephone number is required  when adding an entry and stored by us in case we need to contact you about the information you have submitted. 

The entry form will be publicly available and published online which will include any personal information you choose to submit. 

How we use the information provided

The Community Information Hub webpage is a central resource for the public to find information about community events, clubs, groups and charities which are active within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

RBWM Council. 

Who we may share your information with

We do not share your personal information with third parties outside of RBWM Council without your explicit consent or in the absence of an applicable and valid data protection exemption. 

How long we store your information

Two years.

Events information submitted is no longer visible to the public after the event date and deleted 90 days after this date. 

You can contact us at any time and request for your entry to be removed by emailing: events@rbwm.gov.uk.
