Apply for a crane licence
Please read through the steps below before applying for a crane licence.
Applications in all cases should be submitted at least 10 working days before the licence is required.
The licence fee is £751.30.
On approval of this application, five working days written notice or 48 hours verbal notice must be given to the council of the date of commencement of the operations.
- You are required to submit minimum Public liability of Insurance document of £5, 000,000, and
- A site location plan,
- A road space booking and road closure (subject to required Traffic management) in addition to applying for this licence.
If the conditions are not adhered to, it will result in a £101.20 fine for each contravention.
