Notice of an application for the registration of land as a Town or Village Green Gardners Green, Windsor SL4 1SH [TVG 104]

To every reputed owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of any part of the land described below, and to all others whom it may concern.

Application has been made to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead of Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead SL6 1RF by Roger Blake of 27 Duke Street, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 1SH under section 15(2) of the Commons Act 2006 and in accordance with the Commons (Registration of Town or Village Greens) (Interim Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007. 

The application seeks the inclusion in the register of town and village greens of the land described in the Schedule below which is claimed to have qualified for registration as a town or village green on Thursday   18 August 2022 by virtue of the use of the land by a significant number of the inhabitants of Gardners Green Cottages and members of the public who have indulged as of right in lawful sports and pastimes on the land for a period of 20 years.

The application, which includes a plan of the land proposed for registration may be inspected by prior appointment at the Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1RF between the hours of 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays).

If the registration authority is satisfied that the land described below qualifies for registration as a town or village green, it will so register the land.

Any person wishing to object to the registration of the land as a town or village green should send a statement of the facts on which the objection is based to the Legal Services Department, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1RF on or before Friday 6 September 2024.

Any representations that are to be taken into account by the Council in reaching a decision on the application cannot be treated as confidential and will be copied to the applicant for comment and may be disclosed to other interested parties.
