Inappropriate tree size or species to their location
Trees which are clearly of a size or species inappropriate to their situation may need to be pruned or removed.
Examples would be large Poplars, Willows or Leyland cypress which have grown up since a property was built, close to a gable wall or which completely overshadow a small garden or which extend considerably over the house.
Trees which have self-seeded in unsustainable locations and trees which have been planted illegally on the highway may also be removed.
