Maidenhead businesses are invited to apply to take part in the annual charity Pancake Race which will take place on Tuesday 13 February.
Taking place in the Nicholsons Shopping Centre, businesses battle is out in a series of heats to win the Fastest Flippin’ Finishers title. Races begin at 12.30pm.
Will our 2023 champions, Shanly Homes hold on to their crown? Or will they be knocked off the top spot?
Mascots from local organisations can apply to take part in the Fancy Dress race.
Businesses who are brave enough to take on the challenge can apply online through the online portal: Pancake Race Application.
(Deadline for applications Friday 9 February).
Application’s cost £20 per team (2 people), with all fees being donated to our 2024 chosen charity – Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice.
Alexander Devine provide specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and into surrounding counties.
Councillor Simon Werner, Council Leader and Cabinet member for Maidenhead, said: “The pancake race always provokes some friendly rivalry among Maidenhead businesses, and it’s a bit of town centre fun that raises money for a really good cause. Apply online for the chance to triumph in 2024.”
