31 July 2024

Get ready for our updated website

We’re updating our website on Wednesday 31 July to refresh its look and feel, and ensure our online services remain secure into the future.
We are updating a website

You will still be able to report, pay, apply and find information at www.rbwm.gov.uk as usual. However, there are some changes you need to be aware of, because we’re switching over to a new website system.

Already have an online account?

If you currently have an online account (My RBWM), you will need to create a new account from Wednesday 31 July, if you wish to continue having an account with us. Your existing account will not be accessible from that date.

Please note: If you have a garden waste subscription, please do not create your account until you receive a separate email from us on 31 July with a dedicated link to create it (see below).

What to do before 31 July

If you have any cases on your account that you want to keep a record of, please make a note of the reference numbers, or take a screenshot of your case list, before 31 July. You will not be able to access these cases after that date, however officers will continue to have access to any live cases and you will receive updates as needed via email.

What to do from 31 July

Simply visit www.rbwm.gov.uk and click the homepage link to My RBWM to create a new account. (You don’t actually need an account to access most online services, but it does helpfully allow you to log in to see updates on your cases).

If you currently have any of our webpages bookmarked or favourited on your device, they may no longer work, especially online forms. Please create new bookmarks/favourites from 31 July.

Got a garden waste subscription?

If you have a garden waste subscription and have an associated email address, you will be sent a separate email on 31 July with a dedicated link to enable you to create an account that is linked to your subscription. This email will come from noreply@rbwm.gov.uk.

Top tip: Navigating our website

It may take a few days for search engines like Google to recognise our updated website, so you may find that some links suggested by search engines no longer work. If you need to find something, the best way is to use the search function on our homepage.
