Dungeons and Dragons

Maidenhead Library

The club is taking a short Christmas break and will be back on Saturday 11 January.

Every Saturday, 1pm - 3.30pm. 

New Dungeons and Dragons role playing game club. 3-6 players per game. Suitable for ages 15+. Email maidenhead.library@rbwm.gov.uk to register your interest. 

We're looking for a new Dungeon Master! Email volunteers.library@rbwm.gov.uk for info. Training will be provided. 

Chess Club

  • Boyn Grove, Saturdays from 1.30pm to 3pm.
    Children's Chess Club. No booking required, just turn up and play.
  • Sunninghill Library, Tuesdays from 5.30pm.
    No booking required, just turn up and play. 

Crafty Saturday Crochet Club

We're looking for a Crochet Volunteer. If you're interested in helping us run these sessions, please email volunteers.library@rbwm.gov.uk

Maidenhead Library - 10.30am-12.30pm, Saturday 4 January 2025.

Bring a hook, some yarn and drop in to Maidenhead Library once a month for a free crafty crochet club. Suitable for all abilities and all ages (under 8s must be accompanied).

Drop-in Lego Clubs

Ascot Library, every Saturday from 4 January 2025, 10.30am - midday.

Cox Green Library, every other Saturday from 11 January 2025, 10.30am - midday.

Dedworth Library, drop in and create your own bricktastic masterpieces on Saturday 21 December 2024, 10.45am - 12.15pm. Starting on Saturday 18 January, this club will run every Saturday.

Windsor Library, every Saturday from 4 January 2025, 10.30am - midday.

Talkin' Tables comes to Maidenhead

  • Rio Deli Café in Maidenhead Library, every Tuesday from 10.30am - 11.30am.

    The prize-winning Talkin' Tables initiative has arrived in Maidenhead. This initiative encourages people to come together around a table for a tea or coffee, in the hope of making new friends and battle to beat loneliness. Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club is supporting this initiative by having a table in Rio Deli Café every Tuesday for an hour. Anyone is welcome to join.

Friends in Need Book Group

This book group will be running monthly at Maidenhead Library by Friends in Need. Friends in Need is a free support group and wellbeing community for people affected by stress, social isolation, depression and anxiety.

Every other Thursday 2pm - 3pm.

Meet with other creative writers and share ideas in a supportive group. No booking required.

The Pop-Up Poetry group meet in Maidenhead Library during the first week of every month.

Puzzle Swap

Dedworth Library and Windsor Library 

Bring your old puzzles (with all the pieces) and help yourself to one left by someone else. 

Maidenhead Community Garden Project 

Enjoy community gardening at Maidenhead Library! We are transforming an external area into a garden space for all to enjoy and learn in. The aim is for it to be a grassroots effort. It will upcycle collected materials donated by the community. 

Please help us grow this garden. If you or friends have extra seeds or plants, clean compost, plant pots/trays you no longer use, or want to volunteer in the garden, please email us at maidenhead.library@rbwm.gov.uk.

Spanish Conversation Group

Sunninghill Library, Saturdays 11am - midday.

Meet with other Spanish speakers and practice your Spanish.

Knit and Natter

Do you love to knit or maybe you are just a beginner?

Knit and Natter provides an opportunity to get together informally with like-minded people, have a good chat and do some knitting at the same time. 

Pick up your needles and yarn and join one of our cheerful Knit and Natter groups.
