This review is being carried out, on behalf of RBWM by our Counter Fraud and Enforcement Unit (CFEU).
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead takes part in the National Fraud Initiative (NFI) which is operated by the Cabinet Office.
The NFI matches electronic data from public and private sector bodies to prevent and detect fraud and error. Further information can be found on the NFI website.
We have requested that our Counter Fraud and Enforcement Unit (CFEU) undertake this review on our behalf. CFEU work for a number of local authorities and will be sending out letters to selected Royal Borough residents during November 2024.
If you receive a letter from CFEU reviewing your single person discount, please respond directly to them as requested within the letter.
Please note: that not all residents have been selected for this review. However, anyone receiving a single person discount must advise the council if their circumstances change.
