We are not aware of any RBWM scrutiny panel being advised of a lack of
resources specifically within the Tree team, but request under EIR that you
provide the most recent reports in which you yourself advised any Councillors or
Senior Officers of this significant problem given that you say it impedes your
ability to provide necessary reports.
The ordinary statutory timeframe for determining any planning application
is 13 weeks without consent to an extension. [...] Under EIR we therefore request that you state what deadlines you were
given in which to comment, and whether you were you aware of the
approved extension of time
If time were in fact “short” we request under EIR any email in which you
warned planners (or any Senior RBWM officer) that it was “too short” a
period of time for you to conduct a “needed” expert-led verification review
of the tree situation in an area subject to a blanket TPO.
