At the RBWM Audit and Governance Committee meeting held on 9 September 2024, it was stated that the letter from Grant Thornton to the RBWM Chief Executive (and copied to the Section 151 Officer) dated 26 July 2024 (Agenda Item 6 in the meeting papers) was actually finalised and issued on or around 3 September 2024 after a “draft” of the letter had been received and amendments to it agreed between RBWM and Grant Thornton. The subject of the letter is “Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead – Financial Sustainability and Governance”.
I’d be grateful if you would please let me have:
1) A copy of the “draft” letter sent by Grant Thornton to the RBWM Chief Executive dated 26 July 2024.
2) Any correspondence (e.g. emails) from Grant Thornton to RBWM which indicate that the letter is draft and/or inviting comments on it.
3) Any correspondence (e.g. emails) between Grant Thornton and RBWM regarding comments and/or amendments to the letter.
4) Any correspondence (e.g. emails) from Grant Thornton to RBWM showing when the “final” version of the letter dated 26 July 2024 was sent to RBWM.
