[…] under Freedom of Information Act, I request an electronic copy of the public records for the following two categories:
1.    For the most recent fiscal year through the most recently available (Jan 2023 – June 2024), digital copies of all licensed, non-exempted private markets/alternatives focused funds (including but not limited to private equity, venture capital, private real assets, hedge funds) including, but not limited to, the following documents:
•    Private placement memorandums
•    Subscription credit documents
•    Limited Partner Agreements
•    Operational agreements
•    Hedge fund registration notices
•    Fund prospectuses
•    Note that this request can exclude filings for the firms 1991 Partners GP LLC, Jafar Management LLC, and Mountain Lakes Capital Management LLC if possible. 
2.    For the period beginning from start of 2024 to current (Jan 1, 2024 – June 21, 2024), digital copies of non-fund-specific filings for private markets/alternatives entities. This could include, but not be limited to, the following:
•    Articles of incorporation, SCOR, and crowdfunding forms
•    Other small business incorporation/capital raises/offering registrations.
•    Any other private capital-related filings
If there are any fees for searching for, reviewing, or copying the records, please inform me before you task the request. If you deny all or any part of this request, please cite each specific exemption you think justifies your refusal to release the information and notify me of appeal procedures available under the law. If this information is posted online or in another publicly available format, please provide the link to this information, along with instructions on how to access this information, if necessary.
Finally, I understand that the firms whose documents are included in this request may desire to redact personal/identifying information from their documents before release. I agree that documents with redactions of sensitive private information such as SSNs or investor names or other personal details will still be responsive to this request.
