I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act (2000), to request details about your council's work to identify Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in its estate.

1) How many professional Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) surveys have been carried out on council buildings (including commercial, non-commercial, community and residential) that were built or extended between 1950 and 1990? Please provide a numerical figure.
2) How many surveys are still outstanding? Please answer using a numerical figure. If you do not know how many need to be surveyed, please respond ‘unsure’.
3) Please name any council run or owned buildings (including commercial, non-commercial, community and residential) where RAAC has been identified in the last two years.
4) Please detail the status of the buildings with RAAC. For example; have remedial works been carried out to replace the RAAC, is the structure safe or has the building been deemed uninhabitable and needs to be demolished?
5) What is the estimated cost to repair or eradicate RAAC from your estate and do you have the budget to achieve this?
