Would you please advise, what are the events that have led up to the forfeiture of the lease of the Eton Wick Village Hall :
1. Prior to the forfeiture was RBWM attempting to renegotiate the lease to limit it to the library area only? This is important for the village to understand as for the last year there has been a thriving Youth Club using the other section of the ground floor.
2. Why has RBWM been sometime late paying its lease payments ( last few years.)
3 . Does RBWM still owe money under the terms of the lease ? If so how much and what are the reasons for non payment.
4 . Is the RBWM now making reasonable attempts to engage in discussions to reinstate the lease for the library, or the library and whole ground floor to also enable the Youth Club to reopen?
5 . Do you have any other information that the village should be aware of , such as funding for alternative provision of library or youth services in the interim until this unfortunate dispute is ongoing.
