I am writing with respect to the Council’s Position Statement on Housing land Supply published August 2022 (attached). Within this, it states that the Council’s requirement for the five-year period April 2021 to March 2026 is 4,800 dwellings (based upon the requirement for years 9-13 of the Borough Local Plan as set out in Policy HO1) with a supply of 5,963 dwellings.
Whilst the Council in November 2020 provided a trajectory for each site within the Council’s supply (see PCP Housing trajectory attached), there is no equivalent for the April 2021 assessment. Can you therefore please provide me with a schedule of the specific sites that the Council relies upon to show its supply is 5,963 dwellings? This is because the previous information had indicated that for years 9-13, the expected delivery was 6,000 dwellings (242 + 824 + 1,628 + 1,484 + 1,822) and I would like to understand what has changed from the earlier assessment.
In addition, can you let me know when the Council will release its assessment of supply at April 2022?
