From a previous FOI request back in 2020 Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council confirmed the FromSA product SKU was used in its Microsoft Office 365 software licensing agreement and that the previously used Microsoft Office perpetual licences had not been ‘relinquished’. Please note other potential phrases used instead of ‘relinquishment’ can be.. upgraded, levied up, traded in, transferred, retained, transferred to a reseller, voided and terminated.
Do Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council still, therefore, own the Microsoft Office perpetual licences that were used prior to the migration to 365? If so what versions/quantities of these licences do you still own?
If they are no longer owned by the council what happened to them?
