Responsible for:

• Statutory director of children’s social services (DCS).
• All Age education including Educational Psychology, schools, sensory consortium, and children’s services. 

Key tasks involve:

• Delivery of the statutory responsibilities of the director of children’s services for the Royal Borough.
• Lead, manage and develop the council’s children’s regulatory, transformation and commissioned services.  
• Lead the delivery of early help, education, health, and children’s social care services. Lead and shape the development of the education system, including maintained schools and adult education.
