Council tax communication
The council is now sending e-mails, SMS messages and voice messages to residents who have missed a council tax payment. See our webpage for more information.
We are only able to offer the priority certificate service (see below for fees) from this office.
All non-priority certificate requests should be directed to the General Register Office.
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Registration Service holds birth, death and marriage records for the Royal Borough from 1 July 1837 to present day and you can apply to the Maidenhead office for a copy certificate.
Some boundaries may have changed over the years and we will be pleased to advise where applications should be made.
We can only supply copies of death certificates where the event occurred within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
You should give as much information as possible to enable the correct register entry to be found and copied for you.
