You will need to pay a fee before we grant a licence. All fees depend on Net Explosive Content (NEC) being stored.
If you want to store up to 2,000kg of explosives you will need to apply to us for a storage licence, with the exception of explosives that requires an explosives certificate (for example blasting explosive or black powder) where you will need a licence or registration from your local police.
If you manufacture explosives or if you want to store 2,000kg or more you will need a licence from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
